Nourish Organic Eye Treatment

I have been wanting one of these eye creams with the cooling applicator for AGES! Every one that seems to have launched is either majorly chocked full of nasties or has ingredients I’m allergic to.
Enter the Nourish Organic Eye Treatment*.
This was dropped off at my door a few weeks ago. You know before Michigan decided it was colder than Alaska. This sudden plunge into sub-artic air has not only my whole face feeling stripped of moisture but especially my eyes. The skin under the eyes is particularly delicate. Not moisturizing enough leaves you with dry crepey under eyes . Over moisturizing can lead to your concealer sliding around like butter in a hot pan. I’m loving this medium weight formula that is full of lovely hydrating ingredients. Avocado and Argan are at the top  of the list but it’s also got rosehip oil and cupaucu butter. The applicator that I was so excited about – it’s awesome! I love it especially in the morning. I find that it helps with reducing my puffiness in a nicer way than frozen spoons. All in all I think this is a great eye cream for winter.  Next, I would love to see them come out with something that packs a bigger anti-aging punch. These fine lines won’t erase themselves!

Weleda Arnica Massage Oil

The thought of my impending nuptials & wanting to feel great in my dress has had me seriously stepping up my work out game. Silly me though, I made the mistake of doing some serious squats and then thinking I could go for a run the next day. Not a wise move if you’re not used to that kind of thing. Thankfully I had this bottle of Weleda Arnica Massage Oil! The arnica and birch oils have a warming effect that helps to soothe achy muscles. It’s a hot stone massage in a bottle as far as I’m concerned. The gentle heat sinks into the muscle unwinding pent up tension providing a relief I can only usually get from said massage. This oil has truly earned a place as a go-to for me instead of other muscle balms. If you’re a runner, a cross-fit junkie or just a yogi with a crick, I would highly recommend that you check this out!

Cleansing Done Right

Sometimes, I hate cleansers. I try and try again but inevitably they always end up in a corner of my shower, ignored and lonely. They’re too rich, or too drying, or they smell funny. I never thought I’d find the right one.
(Feeling a bit Goldilocks with this…)
This winter though I stumbled on the best combination of products that make my skin feel glowing and hydrated. The paring up of the rich Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm and the Osmia Organics Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a match made in heaven for me. Boots Cleansing Balm is chocked full of great oils including, olive, jojoba, and sweet almond. I use about a nickel size of the cleansing balm and massage it into my skin and then wipe it away with hot muslin or flannel cloth. On it’s own I like it but it can be a bit heavy on my skin. So I follow it up with a quick cleanse of the lovely OO Gentle Foaming cleanser. It’s a lovely thick gel that when massaged into damp skin creates a slight foam. I just rinse this off and then follow it with any products that I’m using. This nightly cleansing routine has kept my skin calm, hydrated and less prone to it’s normal winter freakout.
